Mary Robson is a graduate of the Arrupe Program and has a degree in Theology and Master of Arts (Spiritual Direction).  Her interest is in the transformative process of Ignatian Spirituality in the ordinary moments of everyday life.

Elizabeth Kerr

Elizabeth Kerr Elizabeth Kerr is married, with eight adult children and several grandchildren.  After completing her theology degree, she worked as Pastoral Associate at St Ignatius Parish, Toowong, for 10 years.  Liz is a founding member of the Faber Centre where she has been involved for the past 11 years, leading retreats, coordinating the Arrupe Program for the training of spiritual directors and supervising post graduate students.  Her great love has been accompanying people through the Spiritual Exercises over the past 30 years and mentoring others on their life journey.

Sharyn Price

Sharyn-Price-large1-image Sharyn Price is the Personal Assistant to the Director of the Faber Centre.  She is married and has two children.

Sharyn is in the office on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 9.15 am to 2.45 pm.

Angela Botti fdcc

Angela Botti fdcc Angela Botti fdcc is a Canossian Daughter of Charity and has spent most of her life in adult faith formation. She trained in the Jesuit Institute, Boston, USA.  Angela is a Giver of the Spiritual Exercises, a Spiritual Director and a Supervisor in Spiritual Direction. 

Larry Cox

Larry-Cox  Larry Cox  is currently the Minister, St Bonaventure Fraternity, Queensland Regional Council, of the Secular Franciscan Order and is a Lay Chaplain in Pastoral Care at the Prince Charles Hospital. He has a keen interest in the giving the Full Spiritual Exercises.  Larry is married with three adult children and eight grandchildren. Larry was previously involved in Air Traffic Services for 35 years. 

Steve Cunningham

Steve Cunningham Steve Cunningham is married with four grown up children and has an extensive business background. He is a Companion in the Ministry of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. Steve’s particular interest is in promoting Ignatian Spirituality to those people and communities beyond the metropolitan areas.

Anne Dawson osu

Anne Dawson OSU Anne Dawson osu has a background in tertiary education. She has a Masters Degree (Religion) and a PhD (Scripture). She has developed and taught courses with reference to Spirituality in the Christian Tradition and Contemporary Spirituality. Anne has a special interest in women’s spirituality, guiding retreats, and is involved with supervision of Arrupe Masters Students training to give the Spiritual Exercises through the Jesuit College of Spirituality (JCS). 

Cecilia Formby

Cecilia Formby

Cecilia Formby was born in England and migrated to Australia in 1973. She is married with six
children and many foster children. Cecilia trained in the Arrupe Program and now gives the Spiritual
Exercises and spiritual direction, and supervisor of Spiritual Directors. Cecilia is Secretary of
Companions in the ministry Ignatian Spiritual Exercises.

Clive Hamlin

Clive Winston Hamlin Clive Hamlin is a semi-retired insurance broker and trained Giver of the Spiritual Exercises in the Arrupe Program. Clive has a special interest in the giving of retreats in daily life as well as the First Spiritual Exercises in Parishes.   He is also involved with a group of men who conduct parish-based weekend retreats. 

Lynne Head-Weir

Lynne Head-Weir cropped3 Lynne Head-Weir is a Giver of Ignatian Spiritual Exercises and has  Master of Arts (Spiritual Direction).  She is a practicing visual artist and community arts worker (Grad Dip Community Cultural Development) with a background in addiction counselling (Bachelor Community Welfare) and creative arts therapy (Master of Arts). Lynne is drawn towards combining creative arts within the faithful processes of Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. 

Catherine Hefferan rsm

Catherine Hefferan rsm Catherine Hefferan rsm is a Sister of Mercy and has a background in Nursing, Midwifery, Psychiatry and Counselling. She has a BTheol, Master of Ministry, MA (Theology/Spiritual Direction) and a Graduate Certificate in Supervision/Spiritual Direction. She trained at 'Siloam', Heart of Life Spirituality Centre and is a spiritual director, supervisor and director of retreats.  When giving the Spiritual Exercises she draws on the wisdom of the Mystics. 

Kerry Holland

Kerry Holland Kerry Holland is a practising artist, a Graduate of the Arrupe Program, and an experienced Giver of the Full Spiritual Exercises.  She is interested in the expression of Christian spirituality and human experience in the making of art and the dynamic of the Spiritual Exercises.   She has a BSc in Physics, and Dip Ed first teaching mathematics and science, and now teaching art. Kerry is an Anglican and married with three children and two grandchildren. She enjoys working ecumenically in this ministry of Ignatian Spirituality. 

Trish Ingall

Trish Ingall3 Trish Ingall is married with teenaged children and lives in Bundaberg. A graduate of the Arrupe Program, Trish teaches Religious Education at Shalom College and enjoys working to help develop the spirituality of young people, particularly in the Ignatian way of finding God in all things. Trish also gives the First Spiritual Exercises through the Catholic parish in Bundaberg, as an extension of the Faber program. 

Steve Jorgensen

Stevejorgensen Steve Jorgensen M.EdL, B.Ed Hons, commenced teaching 48 years ago, 31 years of which have been in Religious Education as the Head of RE in both NZ and Australia. In 2005 he had the blessing of undertaking the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius with Fr John Drury S.J. Subsequently Steve did the Arrupe Programme training as a Giver of the Exercises, and in his semi-retirement is excited about the prospect of participating in the programmes of the Faber Centre of Ignatian Spirituality, especially its ministry to schools. 

Chris Kennedy

Chris Kennedy20172 Christopher Kennedy lives on the Gold Coast and is a member of the Faber Centre’s outreach to the Gold Coast and northern NSW. He is married with two adult children and has a background in property valuation and management. Chris has a Master of Arts (Spiritual Direction) and is a Companion in the Ministry of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises.  His particular interest is the formation of people into a life of discernment in prayer, especially men in his work within the menALlVE ministry.

Andrew Lam

Andrew Lam is professor emeritus of Theology at a seminary in Hong Kong after his versatile career as a professional accountant, solicitor, pastor of church and finally as associate professor of Theology. Besides professional qualifications, he has a Master of Divinity and a PhD. He has keen interest in adult spiritual formation and Ignatian spirituality, and is a Companion in the Ministry of the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises. He enjoys giving spiritual direction and leading retreat. He is married with two adult daughters and two grandsons.

Meredith Nicholls

Meridith Nicholls Meredith Nicholls has a background in nursing, is married, the mother of two adult children and a grandmother. She holds a Master of Arts (Spiritual Direction) and is a Giver of the Spiritual Exercises in daily life. Her desire is to companion others from different faith backgrounds to experience a deeper relationship with God through Ignatian spirituality. 

Kerry Rush

Kerry Rush is an education consultant providing professional expertise and experience in the areas of theology, spirituality and the Catholic Identity of schools. Kerry is now retired after being a teacher, Education Officer and Principal Education Officer Religious Education and Senior Education Officer of ResourceLink, for Brisbane Catholic Education.  Kerry has led and collaborated in the development of many significant religious education curriculum, spiritual formation projects and contemporary resourcing initiatives for educators and parishes.  Kerry has a passion to provide spiritual formation for educators especially from the Ignatian tradition.  She has presented to diverse audiences across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.  Kerry has a Bachelor of Education and Masters in Theological Studies.

Beryl Schneider

Beryl Schneider Beryl Schneider comes from an Applied Science, Business and Project Management background. She has served Care and Concern since 1978 in her local parish. She later developed the Centacare Service in the Caboolture and Stanley River Parishes. For more than 25 years, Beryl has been involved with homelessness for families, individuals and youth with the help of government grants and funding. Beryl has been involved with the Angelus Association since 2006. 

Peter Shakhovskoy

Peter Shakhovskoy Peter Shakhovskoy has a background in engineering, communications technology and management. He is married with five adult sons and also has a Grad Dip in Ministry and a Masters in Theology. He enjoys gving the Spiritual Exercises and individual spiritual direction, is co-founder of MenALIVE and has been involved in giving parish based men's retreats and father/son retreats in Australia and New Zealand over 14 years.

Maria Shelley

Maria Shelley Maria Shelley is married with 8 adult children. Spent 18 years in Papua New Guinea, teaching and after ongoing training became a catechist. Continued as a catechist in Australia for over 20 years. Became a member of CLC, and after doing the Spiritual Exercises did further study and formation in Ignatian Spirituality.

Denise Sullivan

Denise Sullivan Denise Sullivan is married with five children and trained as a lawyer in South Africa before migrating to Australia. She works as a mediator and counselor, gives the Spiritual Exercises and companions women in ministry.  Denise is interested in spiritual direction for survivors of abuse. 

Chris Webb

Chris Webb Christine Webb has completed the Arrupe Program to give the Spiritual Exercises. She is involved in giving the First Spiritual Exercises and is completing the Master of Arts in Spiritual Direction from the University of Divinity in Melbourne. She is a mother, grandmother and retired teacher. 

Peter Webb

Peter Webb Peter Webb is married with seven children and nine grandchildren. Peter is Prayer & Spiritual Development Mentor at a Catholic high school, having studied at Jesuit universities Boston College and Fordham, where he achieved a Masters in Theology and Religious Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. He was recently honoured with a “Spirit of Catholic Education” award for his work in parent partnerships and in prayer and spirituality with students and staff. 

Katherine Whitehouse

Katherine Whitehouse small Katherine Whitehouse is a graduate of the Arrupe Program and holds a Masters degree in Spiritual Direction.  Katherine and Beryl are involved with Mary of the Angelus, a private association of Christ‘s faithful, involving people who desire to commit themselves to both a contemplative life and mission. With a private enterprise background, Katherine has taken her working skills in developing and driving a new model of housing for homeless people. 

Min Wullems

Min Wullems Min Wullems is married with three adult children. He is a retired computer software developer/consultant, running his own business for more than 30 years. He has extensive experience with RCIA and Parish Pastoral Councils. He first completed the Full Spiritual Exercises more than 50 years ago. Since then Ignatian Spirituality has been and continues to be fundamental to his life. He desires to share this with others who wish to further their personal relationship with God through spiritual direction and the giving of the Spiritual Exercises.
