Elizabeth Kerr - Faber Centre Director

Elizabeth Kerr Elizabeth Kerr is married, with eight adult children and several grandchildren.  After completing her theology degree, she worked as Pastoral Associate at St Ignatius Parish, Toowong, for 10 years.  Liz is a founding member of the Faber Centre where she has been involved for the past 11 years, leading retreats, coordinating the Arrupe Program for the training of spiritual directors and supervising post graduate students.  Her great love has been accompanying people through the Spiritual Exercises over the past 30 years and mentoring others on their life journey.

The Faber Centre of Ignatian Spirituality offers a variety of spiritual exercises, spiritual guidance, formation programs and different kinds of retreats.

Our focus is not religious services, but spiritual exercises and spiritual guidance for persons of different religions or of no religion, to develop their freedom and the interiority of their daily human experiences, to discern their beliefs, and for Christian believers to explore their faith in God for a better service of God, through, with, and in Christ.
